Dubway recently had the pleasure of hosting a rare session featuring legendary saxophonist Giuseppi Logan accompanied by the incomparable Jessica Lurie and Ed Pettersen, of the Mad King Edmund collective. The group was building off the work they did here last year and providing some fresh tracks of pure improv with Guiseppi and Jessica switching instruments on the fly, interweaving their performances with the guitar and bass of Ed and bassist Larry Roland. The record is destined for the French record label, Improvising Beings, with a very limited US release in partnership with Split Rock.
