Luanne Surace, Phil Carroll record strings

Al Houghton
November 18, 2019

Musician Luanne Surace recorded strings for a series of Renaissance love songs, conducted by Phil Carroll, in our Mezzanine studios recently. With Dubway engineer Russell Castiglione in the control room and a four-piece string section in front of the mics, they worked through the majority of an album’s worth of songs over the course of a daylong session.
